John and Lynette love Jesus and believe passionately in the power of the local church. Since January 2022, the Davidsons have been the lead pastors of Evangel Temple, where their children, Breanna and Brant, have enjoyed using their gifts to serve the church.

John gives direction to the vision and staff, and serves as the primary communicator in Sunday services. John believes God’s word has the power to change us, because of this he loves preaching in a way that helps people understand the Bible clearly and put it into practice in their everyday lives. He has served in ministry for nearly 25 years as a local church pastor, trainer and educator of future ministers through college and seminary education, and facilitator of church planting for the Assemblies of God.

Lynette serves as Director of Operations at Evangel Temple, giving oversight to day-to-day operations of the church and making sure the entire team is working collaboratively to accomplish the vision. She’s passionate about caring for people by connecting them to serving and growing opportunities, and creating systems that help the church operate more effectively.
